I think some flaps or waterproof zippers would make the bag even more weatherproof, but they would make it slightly more fiddly to use

I did start fishing with this reel earlier in the year and I was loving it (with that first lockdown taken into account of course), but then out of the blue I got a really bad wind knot and to be honest it pissed me off because I didnt think I had remotely overloaded it

I still prefer traditional port-to-starboard seats that let me separate gear from where I want to plant my feet
