This is my third ceymar 1000A and it's absolutely fantastic reel

It wasnt the smoothest reel I tested, but it was up there with the best of the bunch

while the state of your hook set is really the subject of a separate discussion, it pretty much goes without saying that all of the above assumes that your hooks are in perfect condition, or the effort your drag is applying to the tip of the hook at the moment a fish strikes is meaningless

So far, it has taken a beating without any structural issues whatsoever
