While not quite as thin as our Gesshin Ginga or Ikazuchi series, they are almost as thin. Ginsanko is a great stainless steel that is generally easy to sharpen and takes a great edge. These knives feature a subtle convex grind on the sides and a very nice distal taper (taper from the heel to the tip along the spine). The
